From artcan with love in person postcard fundraiser event

July 11th sees the launch of International not-for-profit art organisation ArtCan’s first in person fundraising event since the pandemic. This one-night-only event offers postcard sized contemporary artworks donated by ArtCan artist members worldwide. Hundreds of mini artworks will be available for just £40 each, so just the right price point for those who want to add to their art collection but are cautious in the current economic climate.

As a member of ArtCan, I have created a special little painting for the event in mixed media and with touches of metal leaf throughout to add an extra touch of luxury. Called Kelp Days, it will be available to purchase at the event.

The fundraiser will take place at the ‘Bermondsey Project Space’ on 11th July from 6pm-8.30pm. For tickets to the event please book at: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/from-artcan-with-love-2023-tickets-629128228467

About ArtCan

ArtCan is an artist-led, non-profit arts organisation with members across Britain and internationally. ArtCan’s work is supported by the efforts of artist-member volunteers and contributions from Founder Friends and Friends of ArtCan. ArtCan works with galleries, but also seeks new spaces where art becomes a part of everyday life and with the aim of involving audiences in an organic and personal way.

ArtCan’s artist-centred ethos means that the model does not involve charging membership fees or commissions on sales, to help artists focus on developing a sustainable practice.
